Our Mission

KE589 Ololulung’a FGCK Child and Youth Development was established in 2008 as a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of children and youth holistically—nurturing them to become responsible Christian adults. This initiative was born out of the Full Gospel Churches of Kenya’s deep concern for children in Ololulung’a, who faced significant challenges, including limited access to education, moral decline in the community, and harmful cultural practices.

A Platform for Spiritual and Social Transformation

KE589 has provided a unique and invaluable opportunity for the church to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. True transformation begins with spiritual healing, and over the years, we have witnessed remarkable testimonies. Families once on the brink of collapse have been restored. Children formerly trapped in drug addiction and destructive behaviors have turned their lives around, embracing responsibility and making wise life choices.

Championing Against Harmful Cultural Practices

The church has been at the forefront of advocating against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), and we celebrate the strides we have made in raising champions for this cause. Many young girls who could have been married off at a young age are now soaring academically, chasing their dreams.

Empowering Families and Changing Lives

Through KE589, children who once had no access to education are now pursuing their studies without financial strain. The project has also provided crucial medical assistance, lifting the heavy financial burden from struggling families. Additionally, living conditions for many have dramatically improved.

A shining example is the family of participant KE5890106. Once struggling, they have now been empowered through the project. Their home has been transformed—a sturdy house now shelters them, a water tank ensures a steady supply of clean water, and they have been blessed with two cows that provide milk for both sustenance and income.
